Samurai Photographs of the Nineteenth Century
These Photographs were taken in the final days of the samurai class, before its abolition in 1867. Some of these photos date to the Meiji period. The last few pictures seen in this video show Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Japan's last Shogun and the famous reformer Sakamoto Ryoma, who played a private role in the modernisation of the country.

Eiga Naoki - A Single Blow
Naoki Eiga is a Japanese kendoist who in year 2000 won the individual event at World Kendo Championship as well as the highest title in Kendo: All Japan Kendo Championship. His progress toward the championship was documented by the Japanese broadcaster NHK in a 2003 program named A SIngle Blow.
